Stories help shape the character of the young and reinforce shared values and experience among our communities. 

Storytelling programs for young and old to reinforce YOUR theme or curriculum, including folktales, historical stores, myths, legends and personal stories.  For educators, vocabulary and grade-appropriate activities included.

Workshops and classes range in length form 1 hour to multiple days and may include constructing a puppet character to assist with a particular story.

Classes:  Beginning Storytelling: Telling Your Stories; Analyze This:  Old Tales, New Tellings (think Star Wars); Fabulous Fables, Using Puppets as Storytellers; Stand Out: Consider Your Colors (color choices for puppetry); Build a Partner:  Sock Puppets, Shadow Puppets, Hand Puppets, Rod Puppets.

Education:  MS in Education, Reading, subspecialty Storytelling at East Tennessee State University.
Facilitated Second Saturday Storytelling (not Tales Around the Necklace) for over 18 years.
